The spark

Message on a Bottle began intimately with artist Lauren Lazalde, hand drawing commemorative bottles as birthday gifts for close friends. Each piece captured an inside joke, a shared memory, and a distinct visual signature. When requests began arriving from friends of friends, a personal ritual quietly became an atelier.

The atelier

Message on a Bottle brings together lifelong fine art practice with a master’s in luxury branding. Five years ago, Lauren moved from California to France, so today the atelier is based in Paris, where she lives. Every commission is drawn by hand, translating the spirit of a wedding, a milestone, or an intimate gathering into bespoke monograms, custom typography, and illustrations that feel like modern keepsakes. Now joined by her brother Mark, the team brings celebrations to life through art.
